Do You need Numbing Cream for the treatment?

Although the Dermapern 4 is designed to not require any skin numbing, some clients feel more comfortable to use a numbing cream prior to the treatment.

Skin-numbing creams work by blocking nerve signals in the body. They are numbing medications and function like a local anaesthetic.

Creams such as Numb-it can be purchased over the counter from your local chemist.

These can be applied 20 minutes before your treatment, or you are able to bring the cream with you to your appointment and use the clinic facilities to apply and wait until your treatment time is due. (Don’t forget to cover the area with Cling wrap to prevent evaporation, and ensure you put breathing holes in your cling wrap 😊) Note – Numbing cream is NOT available at the clinic.

Consult with your doctor before applying any anaesthetic creams.
